Can a 02' AV6 tow a trailer + 2000lb car on the highway for 2-3 hours?

 

open your drivers side door and you'll see a label telling you how much your car could tow.

 

You'll heat up that auto tranny pretty bad. Not something I would do.

 

I'm not even sure it will tell you a towing capacity. It's more likely to tell you how much weight can be hauled around inside the car.

But I'm no expert....

 

Its like hauling around a couple fat people and some stuff in the trunk (subs, tools, etc etc) the way I see it.

 

IS this a car dolly??? If yes, the gross weight is closer to 2500lbs. That's too mcuh for an Accord. 2000lbs is probably pushing the tranny a little bit. 1500lbs is a more realiztic max. If the road is flat and it's not too windy, it might be ok. If the torque converter is unlocking frequently, you should put it in "3" to lock out 4th.

I honestly wouldn't tow more than a pair of jet skis or 2 motorcycles (dirt bikes or sportbikes), or 1 harley or goldwing with an Accord.
