Default How to check cel

I have a 92 Accord EX. My check engine light came on the other day. I've been trying to the paper clip thing and counting the light flashes to find out the code. But where is that darn plug? People keep saying it's under the dash on the passenger side. But where is it and what does it look like? Anyone have any exact directions for me? Or even better a pic? Thanks

it is on the passenger side, but in the 4th gens its behind the plastic kick panel piece, taped with blue tape to a wirring harness... its a small blue plug with 2 wires.

Sorry for for sound stupid, but what is a "plastic kick panel?" I took apart this little black air vent cover thingy from under the glove box. Don't know if this is the kick panel. But I don't see any blue plugs. I see 3 brown ones though.

im thinking the kick panel is the piece of plastic that is in front of the door speaker (its not on the door though)...kinda like where the driver side fusebox is located, only on the passenger side.
