Hello: just got an '05 Accord and when the car starts up the navi screen delays for about two minutes and there is nothing you can do.

For example, if the car has been baking in the sun and I want to crank the A/C, no luck, the Navi screen is locked up.

Is there anyway around this or is this the computer just booting up like my Windoz box?

 

There's a hack at some other forums for it. Search these forums for the TSX hack. The TSX and Accord's use very similar Nav systems (I figure to save on R&D)

There should be a way to kill the delay and to insert your own picture instead of the standard Honda bootup stuff
