Has anyone ever seen the OEM door guard on a sedan/coupe removed? This is the little strip that goes from front to back. Does anyone think it will look good if I do it?

 

I can't say for sure on the 7th gens, but on the 6th gen sedanss, they are not only held on with the adhesive, but also clips, so removing them exposes holes. 6th gen coupes it's all adhesive, no holes. So unless you are willing to pay for body work, I wouldn't do it. Plus, while they might not prevent every door ding, they will prevent a few.
