I wanna get my Sideskirts & Front Lip Painted, thinking about Maaco

Default I wanna get my Sideskirts & Front Lip Painted, thinking about Maaco

Yea i wanna get the skirts, the front lip, and the alil rear lip in the back of my 94 Honda accord painted... I was planning on going to Maaco, since its just these minor pieces
i dont wanna spend much.... no point really, my car isn't in tip top shape, i just kinda wanna get this done....
You guys think i should...
how much do you think it will cost for my to get them painted? i will probably ride over there later today

i would avoid maaco... try earl scheib if there's on in ur neighborhood

I would aslo avoid maaco if they wont warranty there work. The thing with skirts is they are a flexible material and need a flex agent added to the paint. If they dont do the pre painting (prep)properly then your in real trouble. I would look around a little or ask what the process is going to be.

hell go to a reputable body shop or collision shop.. get an estimate.. so its done rite...my dad has his own bodyshop.. turns out really nice bimmers and benz's take it to a body shop!

maaco and earl schieb are both iffy. but some shoips are better than others so id shop around in different areas and ask some locals

Wow, our Maaco here does great work and warranties it well. There color match has been perfect on 10+ year old cars around here :dunno:

Maaco is good, I got my car painted there about 2 years ago and i just dropped off my hatch off on thuresday, Maaco does offer a warrenty I got a 2 year warrenty on both cars i got painted there. Have any of you gotten your car painted there?

I've just always heard that you need to prep your car correctly before you go to Maaco. I bet if you grab the manager by the neck and say:

"HEY LISTEN HERE LITTEAL MAN I DUN'T CARE WHUT IT CO$T$ JUST D0 1T R1GHT"

they'd do it right.

prep the parts first, they are fine at painting, it's the prep work that they slop on... and that cuases the paint to peel/chip and then it just spreads
