Default general advice

im new to car modding, but have a pretty good understanding of cars/enginges and general wiring and mechanics.

i asked a question about installing an amp with a stock stereo, but i actually am going to undergo a few more projects, more performance oriented in the future.

first of all, im looking at installing an AEM cold air intake system. i know you can get model specific systems (i drive an 02 accord ex 2door) and i wanted to know if its pretty easy to remove the old intake and istall either a short ram or full size CAI.

second of all, id like to change out the stock muffler. not for sound or looks, but preformance. im pretty sure that the stock pipes bend about 3/4 of the way down because since i dont have a v6 model, the exaust is on the left. i wanted to know if id have to get a new pipe bent fo the new muffler or whether i can just cut the old pipe after the bend and istall the new muffler.

lastly, i woudl eventually liek to get a body kit, and/or lower my car.. i have been told 2 different things - to lower my car i need to change the coils or get a coilover kit, and also that i need to replace not only the shocks but alsot the struts and pretty much everything else. if i were to install a body kit, would it require my whole car to be repainted or could a good paint shop match the color of my car and just prime and paint the kit to the same color.

thanks in advance
