Default '05 Accord Sedan - Headlight Bulbs

Ok, I searched and searched about this but haven't quite found what I'm looking for...

Does anyone have step-by-step instructions on changing the Low Beam bulbs on the 7th Generation Accord Sedans?

Any help would be appreciated..

You should be able to remove the passenger side but the drivers side will require the removal of the battery. Did you check your owners manual it should be in there.

yeh, i put some xenon bulbs in my 05 accord, the passenger one was very simple, but the driver side bulb does require the removal of the battery as bone said, and that one is still a bit harder to remove, with a bit of elbow grease you should have no problem

I just replaced mine and was able to fit my hand around the battery and put the bulb in without removing it. The wire harness can be pulled up to put the light in. Then just put it back in with a turn to snug it.

But if I do have to disconnect the battery, won't I need that Radio Security Code ?? Don't think I have it, though it shouldn't be a problem to get since the car's new.

I dont think the new radios have a code,,,besides you dont have to disconnect the battery just take of the hold down braket and push the battery aside. Then there will be enough room to put your hand down there to get the bulb out.

Except on LX's and DX's.

More specifically, not on single CD systems.

Ok, my Low Beam bulbs just arrived today...Here's a pic.... It says in the manual that to change the low beams, it's near the wheel wells and the wheels have to be turned to access it... Has anyone done this, any tips would be appreciated...

THose headlights don't look like they will be any sort of improvement. I'd bet they put out less light too.
