squeeling noise when A/C is turned on ??

Default squeeling noise when A/C is turned on ??

I get this squeeling noise when i turn on my A/C on my 90 Accord ... now it sounds like it coming from the radiator fan . but i'm not sure anyone else have this problem

The squealing is coming from one of your belts. Maybe compressor belt, etc.

its your belts dude same here when ever i started my car it made the noise for like 2 seconds and then when i turned on the a/c it made it untill i kept reving it, i got my belt put on the right way for about $35 at the dealer ship, costly but hey i dont have to hear that crap any more feels better.

I had the same problem with my 94 and the belts just needed to be tightened.

Default Same Problem

I had the same problem, only mine occurs when the car is off as well... I think it might be my fan..... It will happen as i am walking away... kinda imbarassing really.

Yes, fan motor bearings are going bad.

Or maybe the plastic fan shroud is warped so it hits the fan blades. But that would be a different kind of sound.
