Default Radiator fan replacement question

Hi guys. I just replaced my radiator fan motor. Its blowing towards the front of the car, when it comes on. Is this correct?

Thanks, Spy

Well, yeah, but since the fan is behind the radiator, it would be pushing against the air coming in naturally. Also, the condensor fan blows backwards.

Thanks, Spy

i'm not an expert but i'm thinking that the fan only comes on when the car is not moving or reaches a certain temperature. is your A/C fan coming on .. i'm having a problem with mine .. it's making a weird noise when i turn my A/C on

Yeah, the other fan comes on occasionally even without A/C running. Haynes says the 2 are on totally different circuits. My radiator fan was making noise before it died. God forbid I should actually fix something when its warning me that its about to die!!!

I posted on another forum, a guy over there said that its reversed -- air should be pulled through the radiator by the fan. Crap.

The fan pulls the air through the radiator.

Even if you were to install a different fan out front of the radiator, you ALWAYS want it to blow the same as the natural direction of air coming thru while driving.

You can probably fix it by simply reversing the wires.

If you replaced JUST the motor, is it possible you put the fan blade on backwards?
