Default Newbie here, need some help with hp gain

I have a 1995 honda accord coupe. Got it a few months ago. Not very knowledgable on cars and am strapped for cash. Basically I just wanna increase the hp to maybe 160 if possible. You guys seem to know what your talking about so if you could help me out that would be great.
I've been lookin at ebay and i need to know if thats a mistake cuz some of this stuff is dirt cheap and I'm not sure why. I have a few links of stuff I am lookin at for my car. If I can get some opinions it would be awesome. Once again, total newbie, no clue what I'm doin. Oh and I'm only worried about part costs, installation i can get for dirt cheap (still quality though).
Well, here they are:
coil over springs
Pulley kit
strut bars
Catback exhaust
headers
spark plugs
alright, thats about it. These all seem astoundingly low in price and I was wondering what the catch is (besides the fact that they arent from well known companies). The main 3 I need help with are he headers, coilovers, and spark plug wires. Will manufacturer specifics make a difference? Is BOMZ a good company or even known at all? This car isnt for racing just everyday use, i just need some more pickup, thats all, nothing amazing. I already have an intake installed. Not sure what else to do. Thanx for your help

get an ebay intake + kn filter and you'll be good to go, a header might help but nothing else will really give you anything if not +1 or 2 in the high end where it is not noticible

if you have the 5th gen EX that comes stock with the vtec you might be able to notice the mods a bit more at top-end.

lighter weight pulley and crank, maybe some modified cams, lighter rotational mass.

Stop don't spend another penny on the car....

First is it a manual or automatic, it will be much harder to notice gains on the auto.

Second, suspension should be your first area of concentration...AFTER, I'll repeat AFTER, you make sure all the required maintnance items are up do date.

Third, RESEARCH, don't buy no name parts. Stick to Summit racing, the Tire Rack for your first looks at gear. Names like Eibach, H&R, Tokico, and Koni have been around for a long time you can't go wrong getting these brands.

Don't by cheap no name gear on ebay. A cat back will likely add more to sound then a seat of the pants upgrade for speed.

A good first mode, remove the resonator box and buy a fresh drop in air filter. Don't know how to do this, then www.helminc.com for the Accord shop manual is a key first buy....
