I just bought a pair of LED Side mirrors. Does any body know how to wire the LED markers to the turn signals. Any suggestions on how paint them black over chrome surface. I have an 03 Accord EX-V6.

what kind of mirrors are they? any pics?

as long as you can take them apart, painting them shouldn't be too hard. you can do some searches and find plenty of suggestions on how to paint stuff. it'll take a lot of time and patience..

wiring them to the turn signals shouldn't be that hard. did they come with any sort of wiring diagram or instructions? you'll first need to figure out what voltage they require - a car's electrical system is usually 12v, so hopefully the mirrors are too.

 

As far as wiring up the signals, ran the wires from Side Mirrors to the fuse box under steering column. Locate the turn signal wires [Large white plug above fuse box..NOT the RED/BLK wire] & make a clean connection. If you want it to work alternate, I mean when front/rear signal are ON, then the SM LED is OFF [vice-versa] you'll need to use a relay.

Thanks for helping me out here. What I want to do is connect them in a way that they only light up when I use the turn signals but not ON all the time while Iam driving. I got the diagram where it needs to be connected but not familiar with relay. Can you please explain a little bit more about relays, where to buy them and how to connect.
