the passenger front brake is making a metal to metal rubing sound as if the brake senser is hitting the rotor but its not. When I pulled the calaper off the brake pads had a crack running down the center of the pad and the brake pad also had pits in it . Thats all i could find that could be making that sound has any one had this happen befor and will changing the pads be the anwser or is it something more to it.....? oh yea i also checked the barrings just in case and there good...

hhmm..the PAD had a crack? Did the metal plate have a crack too?

You might need to have someone help you out with testing that out. If the noise persists. Put the front up on jack stands. Then turn the car on and ask the person to slightly accelerate(with both front wheels off)...and then brake....see if you can pin point the sound. Its a more hard way of doing it, but you can HEAR where its coming from!

How old are these brakes?
If the brakes are old even if they are not worn down it may be possible that the aging of them made the pads go bad before their time, if their old.

sounds like the pad is cracked... go get a new set of pads for like $15 and throw 'em on.
