Default 02 v6 accord coupe ex leather 30k miles they want 16,995

Sound like a good deal, its honda certified and the paint is good and the interior is too, only bad is no wing and the front bumper has a eraser size chip down to the urethane on the front bumper.

I work at a Honda dealership and they rip you off. I was looking into a 2002 S2000 it had over 40K miles on it and they wanted $27K for it (it was originally a leased car). The only upside to your situation is that it has warranty. Do you know if the warranty is from the factory or Honda Care?

not sure, it just said it was a honda certified used vehicle, I'm hoping I don't have to put any money down cause my credit score is like 780. Also I'm going to do payments on it over 5 years. What would be a fair price on it? They lowered it from 17,995 to 16,995 cause its been on the lot for 4 months he said.

I can buy a similar car at retail dealer only auctions for about 10k-11k. So that helps you determine markup.

Yes but this is a honda dealer with a warrenty. So I'm asking what is fair to ask for it. I want to be able to get away without putting any money down though.

Do you think 15,995 is too high to ask for?

Or do you think me saying I'd be willing to buy it for 15,000 if I put 2k down?

Yea it has a warranty. BUT, is the warranty worth $5k-7k? I don't think so. Regardless I was just giving you a price so you know how much you can negotiate with them.

Went for and and got them down to 16,400 from 17,995 and the warrenty is from honda not honda care. The accord was from a chick that leases hondas from them and gets a new accord every time one comes out.

They always tell you that either an old couple or a woman traded it in so you will think they took care of it.

I just got my 02 Coupe V6 EX-L with 39k miles for $13995 from a dealer as well. You should be able to get them down a bit more. If not, go for it if you like the car and feel it's what you are comfortable paying. If it's worth it to you then that's all that matters.

My 2 pennies.
