Default Quick Rotor Question...

My stock rotors are warped. I'll be getting some new Brembo ones soon, but is it necessary to change the pads when u change rotors?

yes you must change the pads. your old pads will not sit flush on your new rotors and they will create irregular spots on the rotors.

All right... which pads would work best with the Brembo blank rotors? I have a 96 LX, would the Axxis be fine? I'm just a daily driver, a lot of stop and go.

Axxis are fine but I've heard they can be noisy. If you really don't care about brake fade and 5 feet in stopping distance from 60, OEM is the way to go. They're the quietest and longest lasting.

why get OEM when u can get the brembo for cheaper, or for the same price?

btw, u can use the old pads if they still have lots of "meat" left.... just use a sandpaper and sand them even b4 putting them on again...

rotors are just rotors..they are all basically the same...but some people think otherwise

and you don't have to change brake pads when changing rotors

why would you want to re-use old brake pads? If your doing Rotors might has well change the pads since everything is going to be off
