Default Update on my 02 AV6

It's about four years old so I figured I should do some upgrades. I tried to sell it but no one would pay what I wanted...bleh.

EXHAUST
I have a pair of s2000 mufflers. Will they fit the stock Accord piping? I think they are bit less restrictive than the stock mufflers, but as long as they do not point down it's good.

ENGINE
-Tranny fluids changed
-CL-S cams need to be machined before install
-Comptech header
-CL-S Intake manifold + polish if I can find one for less than dealer's $700 mrsp
-vafc and tuning

i believe they will fit the stock piping and if not, just use some adapters?
i saw a guy with them on his 6th gen sedan...but honduh.com was hacked and shit.

I doubt they will just bolt up and be in the position you want them. I would plan on the job requiring some custom piping, but yes, they will physically fit under the car, I saw it and it looked cool.

Why do the cams need to be machined before being installed?

Is the lobe lift too high for the 3.0J vs. 3.2J if so, wouldn't a pair of non-S TL cams work as well?

When you get the tranny fluid changed I would recommend a straight drain and refill, not a machine flush. Flushing can disturb it more then help it often. I haven't seen it done on a Honda but I've seen the ill effects on some other automatics.

My sister just had the fluid change done at the dealership at 100k mi on her '02, it didn't quite run the same afterwords, but a return visit and a trip through the diagnostics has cured the issue the car now runs as good as ever.
