Default My Accord Won't Start, Not the Battery...need advice

I Have a 1994 2dr Accord...
It gets alotta use, just made the ride from NY to ATL, so i have 145k miles on it.
Anyway, yesterday, i tried to turn the car on, and it just clicked.... so i tried about 4 times and it came on... later in the day i did the same thing... I turned the key, and got nothing but a click... i tried about 7 times this time, and it finally came on...
Well today, it was different... i tried and tried, but the car wouldn't come on... the radio worked, the lights worked, but the car wouldn't work... i tried to give it a jump, and even swapped batteries just to make sure.. but it did not work....

So my question is... what did you guys think it is, and where should i take the car? all the wires look like they are connected properly... is it the starter, or ignition switch... how much you think it will cost to get it fixed.... OH and i just want some advice as to what you think i should do... since i can't turn the car on... should i just have it towed to a midas, or honda or whatever....

Thank alot guys... its always a big help...
I did a search, but i didn't really see anything that anwsered all of my questions for my situation... thanks

Sounds like the starter motor, my 4th gen did the same thing. Shouldn't cost you too much and you can do it yourself, pretty easy job.

+1 on the starter. try tapping it with a hammer lightly, it may start.

Ya you might be able to clean the starter, my friend did this and it made it work fine again. If that doesn't work you can buy a starter motor yourself, rather than having it towed, shouldn't cost too much and fairly easy to install yourself.
