really lifetime filter? I had my car in for a tire rotation and the mechanic that did it said I needed a fuel filter, they recommand changing them every 15K miles. I told him not to do it. I checked my Helms manual and nothing is said in the maintence schedule replacing the filter.

yea...i tried to change mine on my 96...it was pretty hard....then i ended up goin to a shop and they said its jammed and they would need to cut it off and redo the fuel lines...so i told them to forget it

but my dad keeps sayin the fuel filter does not need to be changed, and some pppl change it every 2nd oil change, so ppl do it every 2 years, some dont even know about it

it's lifetime on the 5g accord 4 cyl as honda put it in a bad spot , I changed mine when removed it to install my ABS the usal way to remove the filter requires a crows foot 14mm and a long extension and a ratchet from the botton with a lift it takes less then 20mins

its a bitch cuz its down low on the firewall and you want to be careful with the fuel lines and not rip anything. get a set of crowfoot ratchet extensions and it will make things way easier.
