i'm pretty satisfied w/ it overall for 600 bucks, 3 yr guarantee
but with these cheap places, it's hit or miss, depends on how good the guys are.
however, i generally hear worse about maaco and earl scheibs.

 

I need to do something about my hood soon too, my hood has some rust bubbles. for the price your getting quoted, I'm surprised you don't consider a carbonfiber hood? I'm thinking about it.

 

Maaco should be your last option if you want a quality paint job. if you wanted to respray a beater for $200, go to Maaco.

My friend had her beater done by Maaco. We did some rust repair to it and needed a quick coat over the car to make it decent looking. Maaco got overspray on her hubcaps, tires, windows, muffler, headlights ... it was just a crap job over all.
