1) do a search
2) change your afflicted rear lamp bulb
3) you have an I4

Clock Light: the back light bulb can be easily bought at your local dealership (~$3) or radioshack (~$1)...you choose. or look at ledautomotive.com for cool coloered LED lights that should last forever. Just pry the clock housing out with a flathead screwdriver, replace the lamp...i think it fully documents the process in the helms manual. If you don't have a helms manual spend the $15--it will quickly pay for it self!

Brake Lights: is this intermittent? I had the same problem (the brake light indicator comes on for a day or so once every 6 months or so), the service assistant at my dealership said it has something to with one of the filaments doing something wierd i can't remember exactly...but if you don't have a tail light out...just leave it. Make sure you check while the brake pedal is being depressed, cause our cars have a dual filament bulb for brakes that glos brighter when you are braking...one of the filaments could be bad and you wouldn't see it unless the brake pedal was pressed. have a buddy help. you could also relpace these lights with LED bulbs which would last forever too.

You do have an i4 because your 4 cylinders are in a straight "inline" formation...FYI

Hope that this is a bit more helpful...

i'm not sure if the clock bulb can be bought at radio shack. i've heard only at the dealership, but never checked in to radio shack. it doesn't seem to be a standard type of bulb. it's really cheap at the dealership so save yourself the extra trip if radio shack doesn't have it and go directly to the dealer.

correction, helms is $60+. you're thinking of chilton's or haynes at $15.
