Good thing you asked that. I have a similar question. Will a 17X7.5 rims with +45 offset with 215/45/17 tires rubbed on a 5th gen with Omni Full Coilover?

And while we're at it, what's the recommended offset for a 16X7 wheel on a 6th gen Accord w/ H&R Sport Springs (approx 1.5 " drop)?

Well I can't comment on the 5th gen for sure, but I know that on 6th gens with a 7.5" wide wheel, you'll ideally want 45-48 offset. Lots of guys live with 42 offset. Camber settings will play a larger role in whether or not you rub as well. The more camber you have, the more clearance you'll have. The 215 will give you a bit more clearance than a 225, so that'll help. If you do have some rubbing, you can do a little fender/rear bumper modification.

For a 7" wide wheel, you should be fine from anywhere from 42-50, but I'd say 45-50 would be ideal.

I've found it's hard to find wheels in the correct offset in our 4x114 lug pattern, so if you want the ideal offset, you may be limited in your selection.

I have H&R sports, some camber correction (right at the spec limit) and with 18x7.5 and 225/40's I have only slight rubbing...minor enough that before I got a camber kit I didn't rub at all...for a couple years...no rubbing.

Hope that helps a little.
