Hi, I have a bad speaker in my drivers side door and I was curious if anyone has any detailed instructions on how I should properly remove the old speaker and install and new speaker. If you have pics, that would be awesome, if not, I'm sure i can follow a detailed explaination.

Helms or Haynes for the door panel removal instructions.

Speakers are straight-forward usually. You will need to detach them from the panel once you get to them and unplug them. Then, reverse it when installing the new.

Is one more "user friendly" then the other? I'm not a car guy by any means, but I can work with my hands pretty good.
