sup guys...my 99 accord had a couple of recalls on it...one was involving the ignition switch...i just recently had them fixed but the guy at da dealer was sayin somethin about an aftermarket alarm affecting them fixing da ignition switch...before...i had an alarm but just turned it off cuz it sucked n i made use of the keyless entry...now after they fixed it da keyless entry doesnt even work...good thing for power locks but my question is im wantin to know if dis is goin to affect ne thing if i get a new alarm b/c i was goin to get another alarm installed...

The old ignition switch recall required the replacement of the electrical part of the ign. switch. This is were most alarm installers attatch there wires so if they did the recall thats probably why the alarm doesn't work anymor. Because Honda specifically says leave them disconnected. You can get another alarm and not have any worries

hmmm...ok...thanx fellas...n about reconnecting da old one...datz a no go...da wiring is all jacked up...my car will honk out of nowhere while im drivin...hahahaha...thanx guyz
