question on intake
lol, i still have my stock intake off my 94 ex. pm me if you need it.
I have learned over the years that a tube is a tube. There are few if any real noticeable or recordable differences between taking off your stock airbox and sticking a cone filter on, and buying a shiny metal tube and sticking a cone filter on. The difference in piping only matters when you have a bigger pipe. A lot of aftermarket intakes are the same damn 2" pipe. If you really want to increase your airflow, you want to go to a 3"
As for the filter, K&N all the way.
right now i'm doing some custom fittings with cut rubber pipe connectors and a prelude intake tube. I think it's going to turn out quite nicely. We'll see though. But I mean, I'm working with what I have. The prelude pipe is also bigger than the accord pipe... 3" vs 2" but it's shorter, so i have to manipulate its placement a lot more.
I've seen people do it with everything from PVC to Rubber to Stock to Expensive-Shiny-Polished to custom-bent, raw aluminum. The results are all the same. Just get rid of the stock box.
