Default Slight squeak coming from Belt/PS?

I am having a very slight squeak from under the hood. I lifted the hood and it sounds like its coming from the pulley on the pump. Car steers fine, fluid is right and full. Belts look good. The squeak is slight but can be heard. Almost sounds like a squeaky belt.

ANy ideas? Just started about 4 days ago.

tighten it a lil. Touch the dense of the belt to make sure it's med tight, not too tight.

How old is the belt? The rubber can get old, hard, & slippery (breaking isn't the only way for a belt to go bad). Then you have to over-tighten it to stop the squeaking, & this hurts the pump bearings.

Change the belt, takes 30 mins and costs $14.

To make sure that it is a belt just pour water (not too much) on it. If noise will stay than look for some thing else.

I put belt dressing on it and no luck. Not sure now. Sounds like its coming from the PS Pulley.

Take a belt of the PS and see if bearing is worn out.

I poured water on it today and it went quiet. I think its the belt. I was REALLY careful with the belt dressing and prolly didnt put enough on it.
