Default Help guys my rear sway bar endlink bolts are broken

Hey guys need some help:

My freinds rear stabilizer bars came off. I think from the joint. Here are some pics to help you see.

1.

You can see the joint ripped off, is there an way to fix this other than replacing the end link.

2.

Here is a pic of how it should look like

thanks

Sorry, the only way to fix them is to replace them. They are a poor
design that I called "The weak link". But not too expansive if you
replace them yourself.

you should be able to pickup an OEM endlink for $40 and you should be easly be able to do it yourself.(if you have tools of course.) the toughest part is going to be taking off the rusted broken one. you might need a dremel with a cutting wheel to get that off.

what yr accord does he have? i found a great deal on ebay right now for a 6th gen accord rear anti-sway bar endlinks. and skabone is right, the part itself is PRICEY! that one stupid endlink is around $30-40, sometimes u need to buy new bolts that go on the endlink cuz like skabone also said, they rust, i know, cuz one of my endlinks went bad.

From what i did with my mr2 there are company's out there that make a upgraded one. But i found the factory ones always tended to be a better bet. it was a common failure on the mr2 for the endlinks to mess up. Look in the classifieds here and see if anyone has some.
