Anybody know the best spring compressor to use on pretty much any DOHC engine? I've heard Snap-On mentioned several times but not sure which one? Anybody ever changed their valve springs/seals? Just looking for pointers....

 

Lots of manufacters make them, do a google search. I perfer snap-on tools to any others but I seen a cheaper one from a company called "lisle" that looks the same as the snap-on one. I think a company called "astro" makes one as well that's good for a DIYer. If you plan on using a once in a while don't buy the high end snap-on stuff unless you can get it used on ebay or someting for half of it's new value.
