Default H22 problem

I have a 91 accord with H22...i got it done and now its acting up. the check engine will come on and not allow me to go over 3ooo rpm then it will cut off and act like nothin is wrong...what can be the problem people please help me

Alot of problems my friends have experienced and also some people on HAN is with the fuel injectors.

i might be wrong but maybe 3000 is probably when your vtec suppose to kick in, but ecu sees ur engine not getting enough oil pressure (sensor/sensor wire itself may be damaged), it will cut off the fuel like you're redlining it right at vtec engagement.

- CHECK OIL LEVEL,oil pump,injectors and vtec system;Vtec malfunction
- swap ecu with somebody n see if it does the same

Sounds like the car is running in limp mode.

VTEC on the H22 engages around 5,800 IIRC, or maybe 4,800.

Limp mode limits the car to 3K revs, no VTEC, basically "safe mode" for cars.

Check the crank position sensor and see if the wires have come loose I had that problem with mine and eveythign is good now
