Default 95 Accord rear seat removal

Ok, this has me stumped.

I'm trying to remove the bottom rear seat cushion in my 95 Accord. Nothing in the owners manual talks about removal.

In my older (american) cars, there was a hook-type fastner for the bottom cushion, in which you'd push the seat directly toward the rear of the car, and then lift the front of the cushion straight up. That approach doesn't seem to be working in the Accord. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Lou

there is one bolt holding in the back seat. it is about 1 foot to the right of the center. you have to put your hand in the crack between the bottom and top cushions (where the seat belts come out). it is a 10mm bolt. once that is out you can pull up on the seat and it has 2 hooks in the front of it.

easy but hard way. drop the back seat and remove the 10or 12mm bolt on each side. take the center plastic ruber screw out and then take that out then you will see the black 10mm bolt for the seat bottom. you will get it fromt here

Thanks for the tips, I began to suspect something was bolted down! I'll give it a try tonight.
