my 5th gen wtih the mugen lip is about 4.5 inches off the floor from the bottom of the lip, and it scrapes alot, unless i angle it alot. how many is yours?
also, i was thinkin about dropping it another inch to fill the gap btween tires and car, would 3.5 inch to 4.5 inch off the floor make much of a difference?
my car is dropped on eibach pro-kit(thinkin bout gettin coilovers) and is on 17inch rims with kuhmo ecsta 215/40/17 n the gap is pretty big, wahtchu guys think i can do.

I'm lowered with pro kits as well and also was thinking of getting a mugen lip. Here's some pics of my drop:

I was thinking of installing sportlines but haven't made my mind up.

i'm on tokico adjustables and B&G springs...on my 96 accord coupe....it gives a 1.6 drop on all corners.
I dont have any lips, just the stock front bumper...and that scrapes all the time
but tehn again, i'm in toronto, canada...so they roads could be abit different here

my 94 coupe, on Neuspeed Sports and Koni Sports, is about 4.5" from the floor to the stock plastic lip. It's definitely been scraped, but it honestly doesn't happen that often. I mean, if you're trying to drive straight into angled drives and over speed bumps, you're in the wrong anyways.... that's just asking for it. After countless encounters with some odd locations over almost 5 lowered years, it's really a rare occasion when i get major scrapage anymore, anywhere.
And despite that, I will probably never put a front lip on my car, just because it doesn't mix well with what I really want to use my suspension for: driving.

Hmmm... call me dumb, but why exactly are angles needed?? I do go over speed bumps at angles, and up ramps at angles, but I just dont really understand the concept of why it is that going in at an angle keeps it from scraping. You are still going over the same height speed bump, and you are still going to go over them slowly. Someone clarify please.
