Default Stock Turbo Exhaust (Evo) on NA car????

I want slightly more sound, I drive an Acura CL, but I don't want it to be super loud. So a muffler from an EVO has more flow since it's for a car that has 270 or whatever horsepower, but will it be too loud since it's for a turbo car and turbo's quiet down exhaust noise? So to summarize...muffler for turbo'd car on NA car too loud?

The muffler alone won't really have much of an effect on the flow. The piping diameter before the muffler is ultimately the difference between a turbocharged car and an N/A car. If you plan on just putting the muffler on, it will be good for noise but not much in the HP department. Turbo does quiet the exhaust, so I would be curious as to how the Evo muffler would sound on an N/A car since the Evo is loud to begin with.

Hmm, that kinda scares me. I don't care about performance, just some more sound. I don't want it loud though, so if the Evo is loud, then It probably is a bad idea. Is the WRX loud?

Yeah, they are just as loud. They sound like a tractor hitting a shot of NOS to me. I wouldn't go for something off a turbo car, but rather an aftermarket muffler or a muffler from a full catback system like the Greddy Evo. I also think you may have some issues getting the Evo or WRX muffler to weld onto your smaller piping.

yeh, since there are two exhaust sides you can have unequal length headers, which sounds INSANELY deep and powerful
