The only thing im a littke sketched about is the NC state inspection. Can you guys clarify that i won't have any problems passing the emissions test? I thought i read somewhere that the engine had to be the same year of the car or newer, or something like that...is that true?

 

I lived in NC from a long time. Look at the cars on the road around you. At least where I was, there were some of the weakest excuses for "vehicles" that I have ever seen in my life. If it had doors, it was better then 25% of what was out there. There is no way that they have this newer engine deal, that would not make any sense. Just dont say anything, and get the check done... if the prelude would pass, your car will. Plus, there are always shops where you can pass for a price..... thats how I got my 1988 chevrolet caprice with a crate 350 to pass for like 4 years.

 

i know its practically a prelude engine...but its still jdm...i wonder if that makes a difference
