Can anyone tell me where to get instructions for replacing the front bumper cover on my 2002 Accord? Haynes for the '02 is not available and I don't want to spent the big bucks for a Honda service manual.

should be similiar to the 98-00 models... if u dun wanna spend the $$, search on this website.. it's been covered a lot..

 

If you can afford a 2002 Accord, you can afford a $40 service manual.

2 screws in each wheel well
2 bolts in each wheel well
8 grommits under the front bumper
4 grommits on top of the front grill

start at one fender and slowly tug outwards. the entire bumper will just pop right off.

 

98-00 have different front bumpers than the 01-02 model.

 

the physical look of the bumper is different. people really want the 98-00's because of the OEM lip kit available for those years.

you can attach either year's front bumpers, but you'll need to get the matching underbody panels to go with it. the gromits don't line up correctly.

 

I've taken the bumper off my 5th gen to change the headlights. Bumpers are not fun to take off.

 

Hell I have an '00 Coupe and would love an '02 bumper.

 

don't do it. get the OEM front lip kit.
