Starter problems' It seems to spin but not engage to fly wheel.
Took it off tested at auto parts and it spun and engaged. Put it back but original problem exist. Took it off, repair shop repaired the drive , put it back on but i still have the original problem.I checked the flywheel for broken teeth and they were fine, i can pop the clutch and it runs fine. Any helpful tips? David

 

David, Did you ever find your starter problem? I have just changed the transmission in my son's 97 Civic DX, and the starter does not engage -- just spins! Bench test OK.
