Default Brake Upgrade for 6gen Coupe

Hey everyone,
I have a 98 Accord coupe and am looking to upgrade the brakes. I was thinking of going with the Brembo Slotted Discs and AEM pads (keeping everything stock size) anyone have any input on this set up, or other setups that have worked well? Thanks in Advance.

brembos dun make slotted discs. they make blanks and another company will cross drill them or make them slotted. and tires are the best for stopping
but if you really want to upgrade brake pads and rotors...i have brembo blanks with EBC greenstuff. i like it but i am going to try out other pads as well. try out axxis ultimates pads or hawk hp+ pads.

Brembo does make a slotted rotor as well as a crossed drilled rotor but I feel they're not worth the price just get the Brembo blanks and the AEM pads. The blanks are more affordable and spending the extra money for the slotted or crossed drilled are not justified with the price difference atleast to me.

PM me for pricing. We can supply you with the Power Slot rotors, Power Slot Big Brake upgrade (rotors and caliper extenders) or the Rotora Rotors.

You cant get a better deal than 280 for all 4 brembo cross/ slotted rotors with Axxis Metal Master pads.....

Those rotors do make a different over stock rotors. I dont speed around in my car but when I do want to stop. These rotors do provide what I want.

I want some bitches in my car too but they dont help out with that...lol.

I personally would not get slotted or drilled rotors with the name Brembo unless they are authentic Brembo Grand Turismo or Sport Brakes. Both of those cost a lot of money and aren't worth it unless you want to drop $3000+ on brakes. I would look into getting larger front and rear blank rotors. This may require larger calipers and would provide a better and safer alternative than aftermarket cross drilled rotors that have a tendency to warp and crack.

That's a lot less than 3k...is there something I am missing?

Thanks

Yes you are missing a lot. These are made from blank rotors and the holes are drilled by someone else. You end up compromising the design of the rotors. Besides cross drilled rotors are more for show these days than real performance. This is probably the most discussed issue, please search for the countless threads about this.
