Default Constant Rotor issues, help please

Ok, I posted before and thought my issue was fixed. Well, 11 months and 8 trips back and forth to Pep Boys and I still continuosly have warped rotors.

I drive 80mph on the highway for 60 some miles one way and about 10 miles of city driving. I downshift and don't really use the brakes, hardly at all.

I've had rotors replaced, rotors turned, pads replaced, calipers replaced, brake fluid changed. No ABS codes have appeared. The car runs great for about 2 to 3 weeks, then, the warping starts up again. Even the rear rotors are warped.

Has anyone experienced this chronic type of warping? I have had other Honda's and Acura's and I have never in my life had these kind of brake problems like I do on this 92 Accord EX. Would cross drilled help me at all?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I hope your not using aftermarket rotors. They warp more easly. My friend bought some Raybestos rotors and man they warp in about a month. We even took the rotors off and had them resurfaced. They were fine the first couple of week, now they are warp again.

I own a 2001 Accord and my hubby owned a 93 Civic and we have had some rotor warping(or least what I think was warping-read the link!!). For a long time I thought it was many other things--struts, tires, etc. but I found out that a warped rotor could be the culprit. After much deliberation and posting in several forums, I ordered the Brembo replacement rotors from Tirerack.com. Drilled or slotted are a complete and total waste of money unless you are a serious racer or have a show car. They also can wear down your pads quicker.

Read the article linked--it will at least help you with the bed-in process which could be contributing to your problem, as well. Warped rotor myth

As a side note, my rotors have been on for several months and driven a lot and are still going strong. The replaced rotors have helped tremendously, but have not fixed the problem to perfection. The car is a daily driver and 99% better is good enough for me!

I'm actually, funny enough, using Raybestos "Premium" Rotors. 2nd set already. Do you recommend strictly OEM Rotors?

Actually, I avoid that at all costs. I wash in the morning before I hit the main highway. Wash is about 1/2 mile away.

Here is a theory that I heard.
When a car stops and driver keeps holding a brake pedal, hot a brake pad sits on a same spot of a disc. This cause unequal cooling for disc and as a result it gets wrapped.
To avoid this after a complete stop just let a car move very slowly at least for couple feet. So I resurfaced discs on my and my wife's cars and I started to apply this theory in my driving. In result, my discs were fine and discs on my wife car were wrapped again. After I resurfaced discs on her car I told her to do same thing when she stops.
Since that problem is gone. I didn't replace discs. They still the same.
Of course it depends on disc's quality. If it's an aftermarket junk nothing will help.
Also, I thought that puddles might be a reason of wrapped rotors.
