ok.i have a f22b1 2.2l vtec. after the engine warms up and goes to idle, every so often the idle willdrop real low and pick itself back up. when i used to rev. it up and let it drop to idle it would catch a like 1200 rpm and slowandsteady go down to 750rpm which was all good.but lately what it is doing is when it drops down itfalls to 1000 rpm and will drop real low(like500rpm) then kinda pick itself back up to 1000 rpm and idle somewhat fine.sometimes 750 other 600 rpm.when it does idle fine i tried pumping my brake and the idle will jump high to 1300-1400 rpm(idle should normally go up when brake is depressed but not that high)and when i let off of the pedal it will drop down to like 300-200 rpm(lights dim) nearly dying and pick itself back up to 1200 rpm and then back to a somewhat normal idle.what i can tell you is that i have good even compression,no CEL,drives perfectly fine,no missfire,its all tuned up with new parts.what im thinking it is,isEVAC<tested checked out fine though,mypurge valve solenoid starts clickin sometimes so it could be that,or maybe even something with my EGR.i tried messin with the idle adjustment screw didnt work.tps,ect,iat,map are all good.maybe my ecu is faulty,i had a JET performance chip installed byJET along time ago,but i never had any problems with my idle.u thinkmy dist.is could bemessed up??well if u have any info or suggestions i would greatly appreciate it. thanks for your time!!
