can the factory sideskirts/ rocker panel from the LX/DX accord fit the EX? i checked TAS and it's stated that the sides from the LX/ DX cannot fit the EX... is this true?

i would agree too since most things from lx/dx and ex arent the same .

 

I think the only reason they say it is not for EX models is because the sideskirts on the EX models are painted body color to match.The DX LX and Special Editions have black, unpainted sideskirts, so for these the parts would fit and match without any extra work involved like prepping and painting.

 

mmmm i have ex but a 1996 and is all black even the front lip and is all stock.

 

besides being unpainted, the EX sides look a lil more grounded than the LX/DX sides.. can anyone confirm this?

 

They are all the same size: DX,LX, SE and EX, 4cyl and V6 on the sedans. The splashguards are only sold under one part number for the sedans, and since the front splash guards fit over the the side skirt, that would mean that the side pieces are the same size, just different colors. The only other difference is for 2001 they changed slightly in design, but still attach to the body the same way.

oh sorry my firewall block ur link so i had no idea what yr accord u were talking about. in the 5th gen they are diff for sure.
