vtec blown plug

i have a 94 accord ex that had stripped plug holes and blew the 3rd plug into the hood, iam new to hondas i wanted to heli coil the holes but does anyone know if the tubes the spark plug set in come out and if they do can you tell me how

I don't think they do, unfortunately. If you can't reach it from the top, you may have to pull the entire head to get at it from the bottom.

im pretty sure you have to take the head off.
