Default Accord 2000 EX V6 - SRS light on

Is it under Honda 100K miles coverage ?
Any one know how to fix this problem ? it came on when my car is at 75K miles.

Of course it's under warranty if you have the full bumper to bumper 100k warranty, why wouldn't it be?

For me, the light meant a busted ABS wheel sensor (it detects wheel rotations vs speed and if the rotations get too low invokes ABS). Get it fixed soon because your ABS won't work while the light is on.

Default SRS light cont.

Dealer told me this SRS light on is something to do with the airbag system.
When this light on, the airbag won't deploy if into hit accident.
What you said is something else ex: ABS related !!!
Are you sure ? or I might be hearing wrong, I am not a mechanic.
Thanks for the reply,
Anyone ?

Sorry, 11 hour day, I'm a bit out of it. I thought you said ABS. I had my ABS and SRS light both on at the same time so I mix them up sometimes.

The SRS system is nothing you can really fix yourself. Especially since you apparently don't know what the abbreviation stands for. Mine was tripped because of an electrical surge caused by my bad alternator, which is a common thing to go on our cars. I took it to the dealer and they reset it for free, right after they ass raped me for $200 to fix my ABS light that had been on for 3 months.

I had a major service done on my 97 Honda Accord LX in the span of 1 month: 109K
-tune up
-replace timing belt & drive belts
-replace fuel filter
-transmission service
-fuel injection service
-replace rack and pinion
And my SRS light came on and my horn didn't work the day after. Took it to the dealer for a diagnostic ($95) and found out that the shop I took my car to somehow fried the electrical wirings for the SRS and horn (their connected). Honda is asking for $550 for parts and labor! The shop I took it to is paying for it. Get it check!
