Default Headlight Problem

I have a 2000 LX.

Yesterday driving home from work at 10 pm I noticed my headlights wouldn't go on. My side markers illuminate as well as the interior lights. I checked the fuses under the hood and they're ok. My high beams work just fine. In fact, I drove home with them on, much to the discomfort of others. I also checked the bulbs. They are silverstars and they too appear to be ok. Could one of the relays be bad? If not that then what? Any help would be great.

Thanks
Dan

Are you sure the bulbs are okay? Is the filament (sp) connected on both ends? My silverstarts blew out within 2 days of each other. And it's kind of hard to me to tell you if your relay is bad, check yourself.

thanks for the reply. I'll try swaping in some other bulbs I have and see if they work. As if the relay is bad or not I was just asking if it was a possibility. Thanks for the help

Well anything is a possibility. Switch it with another relay of that type and see if it works.

It may be your SilverStars. Seemed yours burned out, 98V6's did, and mine did. My H1 OSRAMs are still fine in the TYCs though (8 months of usage)

I decided to go the 9005 route and just put my stock high beams in the low beam spot...light output is better than the SS's were. How are your OSRAMs?

I actually did forget ONE blew. The other one didn't, I had some spare OSRAMs since they're kinda rareish in the states. I don't know if the other one would've blown out as my dad dropped it when we put my highs into my lows.

They seem a little dimmer than when I first put them in, but that's probably normal. They're still SUPER WHITE (way more white than USDM SilverStars) and I never have a problem seeing, that's something I could not say with the stock 9006. Everyone says projectors make lightoutput shit, but I tend to disagree.
