Im new to accords ive worked on integras and civics and I recently bought a 1995 accord Dx 5 spd. Everything seems fine minus a minor oil leak that seems to be coming from the oil drain bolt. Another thing that seems wierd or that might be wrong with the car is that when I start it in the morning for the first 30 seconds it expels a moderate amount of smoke from the exhaust but its normal after about the first 30 secs. Does anybody here have similar problems or have any idea as to what I may be facing here?? One last thing when Im at a complete stop and I turn the steering wheel all the way in either direction I hear a pretty loud noise from the steering column. Any info is appreciated :bigok:

 

try replacing the crush washer if the oil is leaking from the drain bolt

normal for alot of smoke to come out

Cold exhaust manifold = default idle setting - high rpm, which is actually a waste of fuel in these engines so there is some smoke at first.

That's my theory anyway...........
