The one thing that bothers me about the Alpine solution is that the playlists are limited to 700MB. IMHO if I paid for a 40GB iPod, I want a solution that can randomize/search all the songs at once without that limitation. I'm sure they will come up with a solution for that soon. Till then, 700 MB CD-Rs are a little more economical.
