Hi Everyone

I just thought I'd introduce myself. I've been lurking on numerous Honda and Acura sites for several months, and now find myself the proud owner of an 05 Accord coupe six speed. It was that or the TSX as they are nearly identical in price in Canada, but decided to go with the coupe. A tremendous machine which I'm sure I'll enjoy. I picked it up last week but have not driven the car due to weather conditions (two nights ago -50 with wind-chill!). Anyway I'm sure I'll continue lurking and even making another post or two in the future.

Is the only way to tell the 6MT V6 apart from the V6 5AT (it IS a 5AT this year, isn't it?) is the red "V6" logo in back?

Thanks everyone. I'm in the process of learning how to post pics, and once I figure it out I'll be sure to do so.

Another way to tell in addition to the red V6 are the wheels. The six-speeds have factory seventeen inch wheels with wider rubber than the automatics. Before I picked the car up I had the dealership send it to a friend who owns a bodyshop to remove both the Accord and V6 emblems. So except for the 17's its very hard tell that mine is a six speed. Also had the mud guards painted in factory color (SSM), and the hood cleared with aluminum clear to prevent chips.

Anyone know of an easy way to post pics?

thanks again

Terry
