Default AEM v2 issues(?)

I finally got my new intake, put it on, but there was no place for the egr sensor to attach to.. and now my check engine light comes on. I did a check and I get "EGR Flow Insufficent" and "System too lean".

I've tried resetting the ecu, and also disconnecting the sensor.. if anyone has any ideas I'm all ears.

Thanks.

what year Accord is this for? 4 or 6 cylinder. I know my cousin installed an AEM V2 on his 02 EX I4 with no problems

What?, since when does the intake hook up to the EGR??? Your supposed to hook that vacuum line to the breather tube on the valve cover.

I can't take a picture of it at the moment... real life is intervening some how. I did end up running into someone who gave me some pointers at a filling station though. I had the wrong term for everything. Simply put... I don't know what exactly I should do with this mess of vacuum lines that connected to the old airbox some how. The guy I talked to said I needed an adaptor for it or something... I'm not sure what to look for or where to look for it though.

Theres only 1 vacuum line to hook up. Theres a breather tube in the upper left corner of the valve cover. Hook that up to the intake, and undo whatever else you did. Or better yet. Return everything to stock and try again.

I installed the same intake for my 94 accord and I had no problems. Try contacting AEM, (310) 484-2322 or tech@aempower.com.

shouldn't be complicated, and deffinitely shouldn't have a check engine light, and the EGR deffinitely doesn't connect to the intake for your future reference (but I think you already found that out). But contact AEM as said above and hopefully you'll get up and running soon./
