h22a4 head????
not worth it unless you have all of the stuff sitting around and you are going to turbo or supercharge the engine. The frankenstine cant rev like the H22A can(its only good for 7000rpms) and you dont get near the power that you do out of the H22a(i think because of low compression). But if you had all the suff already sitting at your house and you were going to go forced induction then ive heard that it actually preforms quite nicely.
Lets say that you didnt have all the stuff layin around. Just the h22a head is going to cost you any where from 300 to 600 dollars. Then you have to get a new head gasket which is 50 to 75. Then you have to buy an ecu thats anywhere from 100 to 300 dollars. There is a lot of other misc. stuff that you have to buy also. So you could be looking at almost 1500 after its all said and done. I can pick up an h22a swap (ecu, engine, tranny, wires) all day for 1300 off e-bay. And after its all said and done at the end of the day the N/A h22a is going to have more power with ALOT LESS work then a N/A F22a frankenstien.
