Default Car got broken in..to!!

Some idiots broke into my car for my radar detector. They pried up the door handle, and really messed up the door skin, and even the lock cylinder, AND shattered the driver door window. Does anyone know where I can get these replacement parts at a good price. I checked online and could get them 1/2 price of dealer cost, but the shipping makes it just as much as going through the dealer. AnY suggestions??

Shouldnt of left the radar visible.
Thieves/ Crackheads will take anything from your car is its visible. Even a empty cd case.

1999 Honda Accord, 4dr.

I know, but it's too late, dumb druggies!!

Should have known, but I figured they would see the blinking security light, but that didnt' do me any good. I wonder if the alarm even went on, I doubt it.

At least they didnt take the car.

The factory alarm sucks. It will go off and reset itself even if someone is breaking into your car.

Take a look a Majestic Honda, they have everything. Some stuff is a little pricey, but thier shipping is fairly cheap.

you may want to look into getting a whole door from a junk yard. it may end up being cheaper if you decide this route -- just a suggestion. try www.haprecycling.com, they have tons of hondas.

yeah i have a viper and it stays on through one cycle then turns off, but if like someone opens my door and leaves it open it stays on, but if they close it, it will eventually turn off, is there a way to make it stay on regardless?

most vipers have passive and active arming. passive arming arms the alarm after 30 seconds. you can also have it lock(sux if your keys are in the car) or not lock the doors when it passive arms. there is also another option that may be called forced arming(i can't remember the exact name, know it when i see it) which will passive arm even if your door or trunk or hood(if you had it installed) are left open. if you have the original installation manual for your alarm(most shops give it to their customers), it is outlined in there. if you, post up your alarm model number and will check the ones i have. or you can contact dei for instructions. hope this helps

This is wierd, my friends honda civic got jacked like 2 weeks ago, and found completely stripped and still running 2 hours later. Then my friends dads car gets jacked, and the cops end up having a high speed pursuit and in the end, the car was flipped upside down and totalled....and the worst part about it (this may sound gay but...) my friend had his baby booty's in there, and you cant get things like that back, yuh know?
