Default Just got a 92 Accord EX coupe...

I pick it up Sat. The Integra was too small, and I really like the 92-3 Accord coupes. I had a 92 LX years ago and my friend still has that one with like 200K on it. Nice. Here are the specs. on the 92 EX:

95K
One owner
$3500
AT
Looks clean (of course, the salesguy swears it is sooo clean)

Here are some issues I remember about the 4G Accords:
  • TCU
  • Main relay
  • Antenna masts
  • Igniter/distributor??
  • Weak AT
  • Broken AC knobs, LOL
  • Quarter rust

This car is at a Toyota dealer, so I don't have access to the maint. history. I called some Honda dealers in the area and they wouldn't release any info. unless I was the owner and could prove it. If anyone has a way around that situation PM me fa sho.

Any other issues or anyone wanting to explain the dist./igniter problems, that would be the coolness right there. I'm kinda stoked to get back in a 4G to be honest...

For some reason 3500 seems way to much for an accord with 200k on the motor. i'd say 1500-2000.

No. My old LX has 200K on it. I sold it to my friend who is a home care nurse, and she drives it A LOT to see patients. The one I bought (an EX) just turned 95K. I would agree that $3500 is way high for a 200,000 mile Accord.

No way around it-- they keep their value. It's like a certain year of Honda just "bottoms out" at a set price. I was looking at 92-3 EX coupes and they bottom out about $3000, even with like 200K. If they've been maintained and look good, it's pretty much a low of $3000 for the EX coupes from 92-3. $3500 is a good price for any Accord with 95K..

I'm selling my Teg. It's just too small anymore. GREAT car if it is just you and NO cargo! They look hella tight though.

Yes, you get a discount on a multiple cars through one insurance company. Discounts also apply if you carry other insurance through the same company (homeowners, rental, life, etc.)
