Default H22 Swap Question-Help!

I have a '95 Accord & I just wanted to know if I would be able to swap the H22A-S ('97-01); Would the swap be the same as the first Generation H22 ('92-96) or is the swap more complicated?

search more.

Those are OBDII and thus require more work on the wiring part. Also, the SH motors are much harder to do because they don't line up right or something, at least that's what I remembered from a fellow member who did his swap couple years back.

I think that John (AKA Nightshade) is the only guy who has more experience about this swap.

Do you know the difference in between the two? Is it just cams and pistons?

type s and sh are different.

sh has the ATTS shit on the tranny and also the sh has to have a custom bracket for the intermediate shaft.

the 20 more hp the type s has is not worth the ridiculous prices that they are going for.

its easier and cheaper to just put in an obd1 h22 into your obd1 accord.

dont do the H22A-S or the h22a4. This page will help you with some info http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/tech/0311scc_hybrid/

I got the 94-97 jdm h22a with engine, tranny, ecu, headers and had to get the o2 before the cat. Anyway all that installed cost me $3,500... But there is someone on these forums thats selling a h22a swap ---> https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...d.php?t=169540 sounds like you could get a killer deal on that
