Does anyone have a picture of their trunk with the carpeting removed?

Im lazy right now and dont really want to rip mine apart. I want to see if I am able to custom mount my amps behind the lining.

98-02 accords...preferably sedans but i think coupes are same.

a little off topic, but do the 6th gen trunk linings (the wood part, not the carpet) sag with time? my 5th gen's trunk lining is sagging, because there's nothing supporting it directly underneath. when i put my sub in there (polk momo mm12), the trunk lining was sagging enough for the sub to fall over and roll around. granted, the sub is pretty front-heavy, but it was still pretty annoying. bunch of scratches all over my sub now

 

Dude.....same thing im thinking about.....Thats why I wanna put my amps behind the lining so I can limit the weight thats on that board.

 

That's where mine amps is. I just zip tied it in. I didn't think there was a whole lot else I could do short of building a dead weight amp rack so I just slapped it in that little recess.

 

What kind of amps do you have?
I wanted to put the amps on a piece of plywood or something just as thin.
Then tap some screws through that metal bar into the wood to hold it in place.

 

Anyone know what the black vent thingy is below the red arrow?



I've always wondered that, cause there's a similar vent thingy on the outside of the car near the same area, and is exposed once you remove the bumper.
