Default Playing DVDs on 04 Accord EX Navigation System

I've recently bought a '04 Honda accord v6 w/ navigation. Someone told me I might be able to add a chip or modify the system so I am able to play dvds ? Is this possibe? If so how?

first of all you would have to buy a converter like this for example.... http://www.nav-tv.com then next you would need to buy a dvd player, and hook it up to through the converter. you can use a ps2, an xbox, or you can buy a car dvd player for like $150. i too have an 04 with navigation and have explored this option already....

here's a pic of what it'll look like

That's awesome, but what about the audio?

Do you have to do something else.

nope, the coverter makes it so that you can connect i believe 2 sets of rca input. which has three inputs, like video, and audio left and audio right. so there's 6 rca inputs total. and also comes with a remote to switch back and forth. and your audio will just play through your regular speakers, and also your navi will still work in the background.
